ABOUT ME

Priscilla Villarreal was born and raised in Dallas, Texas by her single mother, Juana. Her mother instilled in her a strong worth ethic and a passion for education. 

Priscilla attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and Ursuline Academy of Dallas. Throughout her childhood, she took on leadership roles in her various school organizations like student council and President of the Latinas Unidas.

She attended St. Mary’s University and received a bachelor’s with honors in criminology. She received your juris doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston. Making her the first in her family to earn a law degree.

Throughout her education, Priscilla ensured she made time for pro bono work by interning with the schools’ law clinics focused on serving the community, volunteering at the local children’s shelter with her sorority sisters and assisting as a Sunday school teacher when home for the holidays.

Throughout her career, Priscilla has focused on service to the community. She began her career as an AmeriCorps, Equal Justice Work fellow, where she represented unaccompanied minors. Following this time at Catholic Charities, she worked as an assistant city prosecutor, Pro bono coordinator/staff attorney at RAICES, staff attorney at Berry, Appleman & Leiden and then as a Dallas County Public Defender.  Currently, an associate at Olegario Estrada PLLC focused on criminal defense. 

Priscilla has approached each case with dedication and heart. She ensured that all her clients felt heard, respected and supported. 

Her vision for the bench is to give her heart and dedication to the Dallas county community. She wishes to serve with fairness and integrity. A top priority is to advocate for understandable guidance to the court process. The justice system should be accessible for all regardless of language, social economic status or education.
